The Entrance Examination as per the directions of the Hon?ble Supreme Court of India, for admission to the MBBS seats under the Management Quota in Private Self financing Medical Colleges that have entered into seat sharing agreement with the Government will be held form 10.30 am to 12.30 pm on 10th October 2010 (Sunday) at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode.
The Entrance Examination will be objective type with 100 multiple choice questions based on the syllabus given as Annexure I (Page 43) of the Prospectus for admission to Professional Degree Courses, Kerala 2010, published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala.
For each correct response marked, the candidate will be awarded 4 marks. There will be no negative mark for incorrect response. There will be no provision for re-valuation.
Candidates have to score a minimum of 50% marks in the entrance to qualify. SC/ST/SEBC candidates need only 40% while physically disabled candidates need 45%. Necessary entries related to this for claiming the relaxation in marks have to be made by the applicants in the application form and certificates from competent authorities, in support of the claims made, have to be produced at the time of allotment, for claiming this relaxation in marks.
Applicant should be a citizen of India and should have passed the qualifying examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or equivalent thereto with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology together. SC/ST /SEBC need only 40% marks. Physically Disabled candidates need 45%
Applicant should complete 17 years of age on 31.12.2010.
Applications can be submitted at the link available at http://www.asckerala.org from 27th September 2010. After the submission of applications, candidates will have to take a printout of the application. The printout along with the application fee of Rs.700/- by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Member Secretary, Admission Supervisory Committee for Professional Degree Courses, payable at Ernakulam should reach Controller of Examinations, Admission Supervisory Committee, Vth Floor (Upper Zone), Housing Board Buildings, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthpauram-695001 latest by 5 pm on 2.10.2010 (Saturday), by hand delivery or by Registered/Speed Post.
Admit cards will be made available to eligible candidates at www.asckerala.org from 6.10.2010. The results will be published on 13th October and the allotment will be on 15th October, 2010. The last date for joining the colleges is 20th October, 2010.
