The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala has notified a Special Allotment to one MBBS seat and 18 BDS seats in Government Medical/Dental Colleges in the state, at 10 am on 25.11.2009 (Wednesday) at Mannom Memorial Hall, Behind Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram, subsequent to grant of permission by the Supreme Court of India. Those eligible for MBBS/BDS admissions and have been included in the Rank List, if interested in the allotment, should report for the allotment with original documents.
The lone MBBS seat is at Medical College, Kottayam under State merit and the 18 BDS seats are in the 3 Government Dental Colleges of which 11 are under State Merit, 2 each under Ezhava, Muslim and SC categories and 1 under Backward Hindu category. Those admitted in Government Colleges will not be considered for allotment to the same course in another Government College.
Those admitted against Merit seats for MBBS/BDS in Cooperative Colleges also will not be considered for this allotment. Options exercised by candidates earlier are not applicable for this allotment.
Those attending the allotment have to bring either their TC or a no objection certificate from the Principal of the Institution where they are studying, expressing the willingness to relieve the candidate and also all the original documents. Liquidated damages as per rules will be applicable to those who are to be relieved from the Institution where they are studying now. Selected candidates will have to report to the Institutions on 26.11.2009.
