The Patna High Court today asked the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) to probe whether all the state-run and private B.Ed colleges across Bihar were abiding by the council's norms.
Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justice Mihiri Kumar Jha asked for submitting a report about the status of inquiry.
The two-judge bench fixed February 25 as the next date for the NCTE to submit the probe status report.
A citizen Vijay Kumar had filed a PIL in the court alleging that the privade institutions, imparting B.Ed training in Bihar, were running without 'proper infrastructure and other requriements' as laid down by the NCTE.
