SSN School of Advanced Software Engineering (SSN SASE), in association with Carnegie-Mellon University, U.S., has opened admissions for Carnegie Mellon's ?Master of Science degree programme in Information Technology with specialisation in Software Engineering (MSIT-SE)' for the year 2010.
MSIT-SE is a one and a half-year full-time residential programme. The first year is conducted at SSN School of Advanced Software Engineering, Chennai. They then proceed to Carnegie Mellon University, U.S., to complete the remaining part of their course and obtain the MSIT degree from Carnegie Mellon.
The curriculum has been designed to meet the current industry requirements. To be eligible to apply, applicants should have secured a minimum 60 per cent score in graduate or postgraduate degree in engineering or MCA. They should have a valid GRE and TOFEL score on or before February 15.
Those with industrial experience are preferred. Students pursuing final semester can also apply.
Applicants can download the application form from the website www.sase.ssn.edu.in and complete the form in all respects. They will also need to attach necessary supplementary materials, scan the completed form along with the supplementary materials and create a single PDF file to be e-mailed to admissions@sase.ssn.edu.in.
They must then send a hard copy of the completed form along with supplementary materials to the coordinator of the programme, SSN School of Advanced Software Engineering, New no. 211, V. M. Street, Mylapore, Chennai 600 004.
Last date for receipt of completed applications is February 10.
