The School of Ocean and Earth Science, University of Southampton, is offering limited number of scholarships for highly qualified international students who are aiming to study Ocean and Earth Sciences at Ph.D level. Students participating in the PG programme will become members of the renowned Gradual School of National Oceanography Centre, Southampton (NOCS), a press release stated.
The Graduate School of NOCS is renowned for its links with marine and geological industry, unparalleled resource and equipment. At present, the Graduate School is on a drive to recruit talented students from foreign countries.
The Graduate School of NOCS is offering five international student scholarship awards annually. For qualified students, the scholarships will provide the difference between overseas and UK fee for each year of the Ph.D study. Approximately, that amounts to 9,000 pounds per year,
