The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) has announced its joint entrance examination (JEE-2010) to be held on July 11from 10 a.m. to 12 noon across the country for admission to MS (Pharm), M.Pharm, M.Tech. in Pharm and MBA (Pharm) programmes conducted at its various centres at Ahamedabad, Guwahati, Hajipur, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Rae Barelli and SAS Nagar. The test centres will include Thrivananthapuram, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Madurai, Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Nagpur, Pune, Patna and Kolkata.
Eligibility: For MS (Pharm) course the entry qualification is B.Pharm / M.Sc. degree in biological science, organic chemistry, organic or analytical chemistry with 60 per cent marks. For M.Tech. (Pharm) the entry qualification is B.Pharm. / M.Sc.degree in life sciences, organic chemistry / B.Tech. in chemical engineering or equivalent and for MBA (Pharmaceutical Management) the entry qualification is B.Pharm. / B.Tech. in chemical engineering/ M.Sc. degree in chemical/ life sciences
Applicants must have obtained a minimum of 60 per cent marks in the qualifying examination and should have a valid GPAT/ GATE/ NET qualification.
Valid GPAT/ GATE/ NET score is an essential qualification for all disciplines including MBA and the same should be submitted at the time of counselling/ group discussion and interview
