Final Allotment III scheduled

Mahatma Gandhi University has scheduled the third and final PG CAP allotment for September 1, 2026.

The allotment applies to postgraduate programmes offered through the university’s centralised admission process in affiliated arts and science colleges.

The registration, correction and fresh-option window for this allotment closed at 4:00 PM IST on August 31. Candidates who successfully completed final submission must now wait for the allotment result.

Admission window

The official PG CAP schedule states that candidates receiving an allotment must complete payment of the university fee, admission at the allotted college and payment of the applicable college fee between September 1 and September 3, 2026.

The university has fixed September 3 as the closing date for PG admissions under this schedule.

Candidates who fail to complete admission within the notified period may lose the seat. They should not wait until the final hours, particularly if the college requires original-document verification.

How to check the allotment

Applicants should:

Visit the official MGU PG CAP 2026 portal.
Open the student login.
Enter their application number and password.
Check the Final Allotment III result.
Download the allotment memo or admission instructions made available through the candidate profile.
Pay the university fee through the approved payment facility.
Contact and report to the allotted college.
Pay the applicable college fee and complete certificate verification.

The actual allotment is based on information entered in the online application. Any discrepancy between submitted details and original records can lead to cancellation.

Documents and verification

Candidates should keep the qualifying-degree mark lists, transfer and migration documents where applicable, identity proof, reservation certificates, eligibility certificate for candidates from other universities and payment receipts ready.

The college should be contacted for its exact reporting hours and document checklist.
